FAQ

Do you accept my dental insurance?

We accept Delta Dental, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, MetLife, and United Concordia. We will also work with other dental insurance companies to help you get the benefits that you deserve. As a courtesy to you, we will file your insurance claims.

What should I do if I have a dental emergency?

Remember not to panic. The key is to stay calm and think clearly. If you are suffering from a dental emergency, contact our office right away and we will do our best to see you as soon as possible. In the meantime, if a tooth has been knocked out, keep the tooth in a glass of milk or the victim’s saliva if the tooth will not fit back into its socket.

What is cosmetic dentistry?

Cosmetic dentistry is the area of dentistry that is concerned with the aesthetics of the smile. Cosmetic dental treatments often have nothing to do with “fixing” the function of the teeth; rather, they are specifically aimed to give you a more beautiful smile. We offer a wide variety of cosmetic dental services at our Wyckoff, NJ dental practice, including Lumineers, teeth whitening, veneers, and composite (white fillings). We invite you to call our office soon to schedule your cosmetic consultation with our dentist and begin improving your smile.

What are dental implants? Dental implants are comprised of several parts. The titanium cylinders are permanently placed in the jawbone, while the implant restorations (the visible tooth-colored treatments) are placed securely on the titanium cylinder. The titanium dental implants are placed by an oral surgeon or other dental specialist, and then you will visit our Wyckoff, NJ dental practice to receive the implant restoration. Dental implants are extremely stable and secure, providing a permanent, aesthetically pleasing replacement for missing teeth.

How can you make my visit more comfortable?

Our dentist uses a dental tool called the STA or single-tooth anesthesia. This innovative technology is designed to minimize the pain associated with dental injections. No more dental anxiety; with the STA, you can enjoy comfortable dental care with little to no pain. The STA can give you the relaxing, comfortable experience that you need.
